I passed by this restaurant a lot of times and I finally tried it last night with my friends and no regrets, it's a close to authentic Thai cousin place or like you're in Thailand experience kind of place.
I enjoyed the papaya salad and the pad thai
they also served the best thai milk tea -

If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. On more than a handful of occasions, I've ordered food for a family of 4. Each time, they skimp (and I mean SKIMP) on the protein in the orders. Whether it's chicken, shrimp or beef, they put one or two TINY pieces and load the plate with the noodle. It's gotten so bad that we actually order "extra chicken" (or shrimp or beef), in order to eat a meal with protein.
THEN, as if this wasn't ridiculous already, they also skimp on the sauce. Just tonight, we ordered $55 worth of food for 3 adults and 1 child. We had to order extra protein on everything (see above). I mentioned, and repeated several times, to PLEASE include enough soy sauce for this order.
The order arrives... ONE packet of soy sauce.
This has happened at least 5 other times in the past. Shame on us for not taking our business elsewhere a long time ago... but I digress.
We call them and explain that for a $55 order, they could AT LEAST include 3 packets of order. And what was the response? That they will charge us $1 per packet and have someone come over to deliver.
Never, ever, ever, ever again. Enough. There's a reason this place is empty 99% of the time. Terrible customer service and mediocre food, at best.
STAY AWAY unless you want to be nickel and dimed to death. -

I'm giving this place ONE STAR for their terrible service and mediocre taste.
I placed an order which was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive 10 min later than expected to make sure I didn't have to wait around. They rang me up first thing and I paid, but did not receive my order. They wouldn't tell me how much longer it would take and rather told me to go wait in the car and they would bring it out. I did as asked but came back in after 10 min to get an update. She still would not lmk when the order would be ready, but instead made up an excuse saying the delay was caused by the kitchen having to undergo inspection.
The order was ready AN HOUR LATER and FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER.
They had my phone number, but did not bother calling to notify me of the delay. At the least, they should have offered me an extra side dish or offered a coupon/gift card for the Hour WASTED in my car with my toddler and husband getting restless.
The tasted was just OK. -

My boyfriend and I went in about an hour and a half before closing. There were a few people there. We were craving some coconut soup and chicken and vegetables. We have been to some great thai spots and this one came up on our search. Its in the heart of englewood, where all the other restaurants are, but luckily, we found a parking up front. We ordered our Tom Kuh Gai soup and it was sort of clear and barely had a coconut taste (its normally white with a sharp coconut flavor). It was not bad, just not what we were expecting and a very small portion. We also ordered the garlic chicken with vegetables which was also okay. It was a small stir fry portion. Again, not what we expected, but it did not taste like the typical thai places you see. I would come back if a friend wanted to try it but i think the flavor needs ot be imprroved.

Went for Weekday Lunch Special
Food - 4/5. Salad was a nice spring mix and the ginger dressing had a good sweetness to it. The spring rolls had a crisp to them but the sauce was a little too light making the fried flavors a tad too strong. The filling was also pretty mediocre as you just taste a bit of cabbage that has a mashed texture. Pad thai had good bite to them and a nice hint of fish sauce but there was only a sprinkle of crushed peanuts. Chicken had decent saute on them and was tender.
Service - 4/5. Fast and courteous.
Value - 4/5. The lunch special is fairly priced at $9 for chicken/vegetables and $11 for seafood/beef. However I feel the food is more on the alright level and not particularly memorable and with such high competition in the area, it loses a value point for that.
Parking - Street (Metered)
